Management
Team
Richard J. Roll, AHA Founder, CEO and Chairman –
is a nationally-known advocate for homeowner concerns and a respected expert in
the fields of financial services, marketing, and home financing subjects.
He founded AHA in 1994. A former Citibank executive, and co-author of two
best-selling personal finance self-help books, Mr. Roll founded a leading mortgage
auditing service for homeowners, Mortgage Monitor, in 1991. Mr. Roll's testimony by invitation before the U.S. House Banking Committee influenced new legislation that reduced mortgage escrow costs to homeowners by billions of dollars, and led him to found the American Homeowners Association (AHA). In 1997, Mr. Roll's testimony before the U.S. Senate Banking Committee on behalf of greater disclosures and automatic termination of Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI), helped bring about legislation that saves borrowers millions per year in costly PMI payments once they have paid down their mortgages to a certain level.
Richard Roll graduated from Brown University, and holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. Articles by Mr. Roll on financial services and marketing have
appeared in the Bankers Magazine, Bank Marketing Magazine, Bank Directors Report,
Marketing Communications, and numerous other business and professional publications.
He serves as an expert advisor to Money magazine, and appears regularly in national
media interviews and coverage.
Today, AHA Group works with leading financial institutions, corporations and other
organizations across America to help bring AHA's savings, security, and other benefits
